Description
Basics
- The long version of the IFP Protect-9
- Twice the flow rate and retention capacity compared to the short variant.
- The high maximum flow rate allows a comfortable filtering of the entire cold water flow at the discharge point.
- The existing water tap may be left unchanged. No special- or additional tap required!
- Low retention rate for heavy metals (e.g. lead and copper).
- Average retention rates for pesticides, medical residues and chlorine. (See characteristics)
- Vitally important minerals, like magnesium and calcium, are not removed from the water.
- The filter cartridge consists of an activated carbon mono-bloc (Monoblock®) material based on coconut shell.
- Filter mesh: 8 µm; flow rate: 33 l/min (at 2 bar).
- Filter capacity: ca. 30,000 litres of water.

Operation notes
- For hygienic reasons, we recommend replacement of the cartridges every 6 months (according to DIN 1988).
- Do not miss any cartridge replacement, apply for our non-binding and free of charge filter subscription service.
- Only to be used with cold water and must be protected against freezing.
