Compatible filter cartridges

• The Carbonit VARIO-HP Universal will be delivered with a IFP Puro filter cartridge:
  • combination of activated carbon and a membrane
  • filter mesh: 8 µm (activated carbon) and 0.15 µm (membrane); flow rate: 7 l/min (at 4 bar)
  • average retention rates for heavy metals, pesticides, medical residues and chlorine
  • provides the highest protection against bacteria (see characteristics)
• Basically compatible to all 9 3/4" filter cartridges.
• As the entire water flow at the withdrawal point is filtered, one should select only cartridges with a minimum flow rate of 7 l/min.
• For hygienic reasons, we recommend replacement of the cartridges every 6 months (according to DIN 1988).

Installation

• The VARIO-HP Universal filter unit can be installed, without costly retrofitting, at any standard water connection in the kitchen or in the bathroom.
• The unit can be mounted to the wall or simply positioned without attaching.
• Hoses and 3/8-inch fittings are enclosed in the set. As required, these can be extended.
• Only to be used with cold water and must be protected against freezing.
